Independence Food Basket
Pantry
Once per calendar month, individuals and families can receive food from the pantry at no cost. The pantry is open Monday through Friday starting at 10:00AM. Please check in by 2:30PM to receive assistance.
To apply for food assistance, we ask that you bring to the center:
- Proof of Residence
- Social Security Numbers for all individuals who will receive help.
- Date of Birth for all individuals who will receive help.
Commodities
Qualifying individuals and families can receive additional food assistance through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), also known as commodities.
